What are the quarantine rules like for food and items when I first arrive in Australia

I heard they are very strict about bringing in any snacks or wooden souvenirs should I declare everything just in case

Seriously declare everything on your incoming passenger card, even a piece of fruit, their biosecurity is no joke and the fines are huge if you don't.
