Budgeting for a month backpacking in Bolivia

How much per day roughly did you guys spend sticking to hostels and local transport, excluding the big tours like Uyuni? Just for food and getting around.

If you eat local and use micro-buses, you can easily get by on $20-$30 per day, not including those major tours or nice hotels.
