Upolu vs Savai'i which island should I spend most of my 10-day trip on?

Definitely split your time, but if you love the big natural sights like To Sua Ocean Trench and stunning beaches, Upolu should get a few more days.

It can be expensive, but look for self-contained accommodation and eat at local places outside the resorts a lot, that will save you a ton on food costs.

Which Buenos Aires neighborhood for a first-timer?

I actually recommend splitting the difference and looking at Retiro. It’s right next to Recoleta for safety and sightseeing, but it connects easily to Palermo and the more central areas like Microcentro without having to commit to one vibe.

Getting from Sucre to Potosí, bus or shared taxi

Stick to the shared taxi. The bus is okay for budget but takes way too long, and the trufi is much quicker door-to-door.
